Pls forgive my Ignorance

Thanks. That's a bit of a drive with no guarantee to get on the range. Maybe worth a look.

Huh?

Not sure why you say "no guarantee to get on the range."

You pay them, and you get to try out guns. That's what they do. Phone in advance and book a specific time if you don't want to wait around. Weekdays are much less busy than weekends.

"We welcome the new and inexperienced shooter with open arms.
•Walk-ins are welcome from opening at 10am on weekdays and 11am on weekends until one hour before closing, and are taken on a first come - first served basis (pending availability of Range-Officers and space on the range).
Please be aware that weekends are extremely busy and even though walk-ins are a first come first serve basis, depending on how many people are waiting in line, you might not be able to get on the range. We strongly recommend you call ahead ask for availability."

As above, if you are in Whitby it should not be too hard to get to Target Sports (less than 1 hr drive) where you can try out a variety of handguns, though I suspect not a 92FS.

p.s. I'm a 92FS lover as well, but I haven't thought of it as a gun for people with small hands. It's rather known for its large grip. My hands are medium sized and I have no trouble with it.

They do have a 92fs in both black and inox in the range case.

Indeed. Never saw that. When I went there a couple of times before starting out, there was no issue.

I'd bet that if you call early on a weekday and confirm that they have ROs available that day, you'd get it with little or no wait.
