I purchased this complete firearm new(not a kit) and after 25 or so rounds the slide ground to a halt and I could barely move it by hand. Took it home, dismantled and thoroughly cleaned and lubed the moving bits and on the second try it did it again. Has anyone had issues with these? Dealer advice or CZ experts welcome.
Thanks Paul

Sorry, never experienced this type of issue with my Kadet. However, when I had problems I went to http://www.czfirearms.us/ and posted there (look for the "kadet klub"). Lots of great advice that helped resolve my issue.

Good luck.

I have a Kadet kit. I think I had an issue similar once, it locked back and got hung up on the hammer. Pulled the hammer back and the slide went forward, not sure if that is what you had. I think I remember clearing out an empty brass from the gun as well. It happened once in about 1600 rounds.(maybe at the 1200 mark?) This is the only time it has ever malfunctioned.

Thanks for the replies. Mine was binding rather than catching, it happens after 20 or so rounds. I have since stripped it again and polished the rails with a fine stone and oil. It is moving very smoothly now but the next shoot will tell. I will let you know.
