Incompatible it would seem. Minis are apparently 13/16”-20, while Americans are apparently 1”-16. Theoretically an adapter could be made, but it’s not really worthwhile in my opinion.
 
Anything is possible, if there is enough metal in the chamber area to fit into the bolt action receiver. However, there is still the matter of the gas port hole, etc. The harmonics will be changed completely as well and it may not be as accurate as it was on the original receiver.
 
Thanks guys , I really appreciate your replies. One more question. Since Ruger Mini barrels have a 13/16 x 20 thread and I would really like to use this 6x45 barrel, are there any other common non restricted or restricted actions that you know of that use that particular thread ?
