Well, all the advice is working. Todays results were promising . Here they are:
Accubonds 140 gr.: powder charge from 44.3 to 46.1, .3 grain increments, average group 1.063" , smallest .734" , largest 1.687".
Hornadys 154 gr. : powder charge 40 to 43 , .5 grain increments , average group 1.034" , smallest .320" , largest 1.984"
The larger groups are likely human influence. The Accubonds had more consistent over all average groups, the Hornadys had a nice consistent spread from large to small to slightly larger. I think I may refine the Hornady load as i used .5 grain increments. The heavier bullet seems like it responded more to powder changes but for the better(IMO). I do have some Swift Scirocco's 150 gr on the way, So i think now that I know the 150+ bullets will tune better , hopefully I can get a load with the Scirocco to have a bonded bullet and nice accuracy. This may be a bad idea, but I think i have a good starting point to get some consistent loads.
Next step after this will be my target/plinking round. But that is another day!!
Any other ideas or words of advice???
