Any update on this? Looking at Apc 223 pro. Would like to mount exps3 and G45

Apparently you can just disassemble the QD part of the mount, slide the thing on the picatinny from the rear, reassemble the mounting parts, and tighten it down as normal. You obviously lose the ability to quick detach the magnifier but at least it's now on the gun without doing any permanent modifications.

I own both the APC 223 gen 2 and the UH1 Gen1 optic. For the optic the only way to have it fit is to unstake the screw to slide the optic onto the rail before re-screwing everything back together. If you have the Gen 2 sight the screw isn't staked so its easy to take apart and get it on the rail.

I used RMR, aimpoint H1 and 2 different ACOGs with no problems whatsoever.

May be it is some kind of quirk with that specific vortex optic?

Loosen the retaining screws for the mount more.
Don’t be shy, unless it’s airsoft trash, it will fit.

Surely the APC223 isn’t your first rifle. SMH
