hi all
i have a ruger 10/22 with a fluted bull barrel (not sure who makes it but it's not stock it looks like the green mountain ones) and was looking to try some match ammo specifically eley, but have not found any except for one box that i shot a long time ago. Was looking to get more accuracy out of this 22lr semi rifle. What match ammo do you suggest or where can i get some eley??

SK Standard Plus is decent match ammo to try. Just keep it warm if you decide to shoot in colder temperatures (under 10 deg C). Hirsch Precision is one source. I get mine from Peter at TargetShootingProducts in Ontario.

I run a SS fluted Green Mountain .920 bbl on my Ruger. It likes Federal match (714?) and will eat CCI 40 grain target easily.
If i recall, the green mountain chambers are Benz but i never had any problems. Try a few of the rounds mentioned. They might run
10 cents a round but scary accurate. (go for 1200 fps type ammo, good quality)

i have tried the federal champion 714 and it really liked it but then the store i used to get it from no longer carried it but i just found thanks to Kody a website that has them thinking i might just get a brick and when i find some eley tenex sold in 50's i'll try some of that maybe some sk and others mentioned

if you can't afford or find the stuff that was mentioned in the first post, CCI minimags are quite good, Aguila stuff has also worked well, and Federal Match/Automatch are also nice enough. If your complete firearm is better and YOU are better then maybe you need finer ammo, but until then, try the mid range stuff.
