Pmags in T81, won't insert on closed bolt?

Evening gents, I've run into a small problem here. Bought some AK pmags and did the cuts/filing to make them Type 81 compatible, they fit great empty (and with 3-4 rounds), feed good, but I can't for the life of me get them to lock in with a full five rounds. This leads me to believe it's an issue with the rivet placement... but it's entirely possible I didn't file an area enough or something. Any suggestions?

Its pretty much got to be the rivet placement.

So it seems, I did some further testing and came to that conclusion. Welp, time to try out internally-blocked magazines I guess.

no no the problem is not the mag but the rifle. you need to trash it lol ...
