Hey guys. I was hoping for a little advice. When running Winchester white box, the mags fed fine. With Federal cheap stuff the first round wouldn't get picked up. Any one experience this? I may just need to be more aggressive with the mag change?

Hummm, are you loading the mag with the bolt in the closed or opened/locked position? Did you confirm the mag is seated properly esp on if fed into a rifle with the bolt closed?
If on a closed bolt, when you charge the rifle, are you releasing the charging handle, allowing the buffer spring to slam the bolt forward or are you riding the charging handle with your hand so it doesn't slam forward under its own spring tension?

I have yet to purchase a Magpul mag in Canada that seats properly on a closed bolt without some massaging.
