PMAG's on sale...

For all of you's that are worried abut a riviot you have seen nothing until you buy a DPMS 308 steel mag. Which I recommend that you not buy. Steel bar so called tack WELDED inside the mag housing. Left inside the mag is the weld splatter and even the follower is cut down. Only reason that they even came apart was mag feeding problems. And yes you are stuck with them to bad for me. $180 in the garbage can.
 
I bought some black pmags one the first day of the sale and a RRA pistol mag. Too bad they didnt have any FDE ones when I ordered. But I am still happy with my black ones. :D
 
Buddy of mine picked up some e-mags.
They insert and drop freely even though they are unfinished.
The rivet does ever so slightly rub in the magwell , but for being 'unfinished', I think just a little light touch up is needed.
 
Got 4 black ones the other day and they are great...I don't get the comments that it looks like a hack job...seems nice to me (but then I don't baby my mags...drop/swap/keep shooting :D)
 
Hey Guys...maybe I missed it somewhere else...but are these Pmags just a poly AR15 type mag? will they work in any rifle that takes the RRA 10Rd mags?
For the price it sounds better than shipping them in for the US.

I just received the 4 black pmags I ordered. They are not butchered like in the OP photo. They look like the photo on questars website, a little rectangle grind, and the discoloration isn't as noticeable. The camera flash grossly exaggerates the grinding mark, it is the same color as the rest of the mag just scuffed up. I am happy with it.

I have to admit I was worried. I ordered the mags and then saw the photo Mark posted on here. I don’t baby my stuff, but to me signs of use are different then signs of abuse.

Anyways, enough about cosmetics, I wanted to ask if anyone else has had problems with inserting the mags with a closed bolt. 3 out of my 4 pmags are pinned ever so slightly too high, the worst one is about a millimetre higher then the good one. This means that it is hard to insert them with a closed bolt; 2 of them take a good whack on the bottom of the mag for it to clip in correctly and one of them I can’t get to reliable clip in.

Any of you guys that purchased these mags have problems inserting them with the bolt closed? I noticed that it states they are pinned to five rounds, not 5.5.
 
ok that clears it up, will have to get rid of the cash that's burning a hole in my pocket and pick some up.
