'Had a few people request I repost my 'lost' stripper clip weekend from a month or two ago.

Heh, heh - I didn't think anyone was too interested .....

Anyways - the wife was away for the weekend, I had nothing 'on the go', so I stocked up on brew the night before and off I went!

'Got my supplies together:

Stripper Clip Inserts.

Lots of Brand New Stripper Clips.

Had a Stamp Made For The Inserts

I Made A Tool (as it were ...) To Hold the Inserts In Position Whilst I Glued Them (I used a hot glue gun - it worked well ...)

'Like I Mentioned - I Was Using PMC 5.56 x 45 62gr Ammo

OK - Now I'm Getting Into It ...

I Could Comfortably Fit 780 rnds (26 x 3 Clip Inserts) Into A 50 Cal Ammo Can With Enough Room For A Loader and A Small Bag Of Desiccant.

I Also Loaded Up A Few British Radway 5 Pocket Bandoliers (these were made for the 3 clip inserts ...)

So that was the sum total of my weekend - a little quiet, but fun nonetheless.

Heh, heh -I can tell you've done this before ....

Actually - use the top end of a chopstick - you know, the flat part where you break / separate the two pieces? Of course, I didn't figure that out until I was through the first 2k ...

The only other thing I did was I went out to the local drug store and bought a pair of those cotton gloves (all of about $1.50). It was a good way to keep hand oils off the brass - and it also kept the condensation of the cold beer cans off the project too ...
