PMC Starfire 30-30 Performance?

Anybody tried these suckers on critters? Found a few boxes, also found a few boxes of PMC gold (Barnes x) factory for $20 bucks a box!!!!!!!!CHEAP (30-06, .308


I don't think they make thse anymore though (Starfire), are they a collectable?

PMC Starfire/Gold is handgun ammo only now. Doubt there are many PMC collectors. Their ammo is usually pretty good stuff. Be surprised if it has Barnes bullets though.

Early PMC "X-bullets" were poor performing copies of X-bullets....

I've got some .44 mag STARFIRE,, MAX POWER,, beautiful slug, went thru three milk jugs full of water, a 400 page phone book and stopped in the forth bottle.. In 30-30 it should drop a tank,, fine ammo.

My buddy called me up one time to help him with a deer he shot with a 30-30 starfire. He shot it side on at the base of the neck and you could put your whole fist in the exit hole, pure carnage.
