Good day: Just curious if anyone has ever chronographed the PMC X-TAC 5.56 62 grain green tips that Canada Ammo regularly runs out of. I have a mountain of brass here and am considering trying to replicate that round as closely as possible (my AR-15 loves that stuff and groups pretty well with it).

I've BL-C(2) and Varget to experiment with and according to Hodgdon's reloading data for .223 I can expect to see 2,772/2,773 ft/s to 2,949/2,974 ft/s based on starting to maximum loads with those powders.

Anyone know about what velocity the PMC ammo runs, or am I radically overthinking this by trying to match velocity on top of bullet weight? According to ammo sellers who just seem to be reprinting PMC, it runs at 3,100 ft/s. Anyone verify that?

EDIT: GD it, I put this in Ammo instead of Reloading. If a mod wants to move it I'm cool.
