the zombie match took like 12 hours because people were not helping reset stages.

The RO's must keep the squads moving AND the match coordinators must tell everyone what's expected at the beginning in not so nice terms. AND if I see any of those rich douche bags standing around doing nothing at the end instead of cleaning up, I am going to puke (on them)

My RO at the poco zombie match was awesome. He ran us like a drill sergeant and we were fully done by 2pm.

My RO this weekend at the Multigun was nice, did not rush us, took us out of stage # order causing us to wait 45 minutes for an other squad to finish a stage, then rushed us so he could leave early and called us "lazy dog effers" in front of us to other RO's. I helped as much as I was physically able to and I always help out. I hope I don't get squadded with him again. It made my fun day not fun and I am considering reporting him to IPSCBC for his words.

Hey Sorry you had a bad experience Being RO'd by me.

Maybe I can clear up some things.

I did not let another squad shoot in front of us, we had to leap frog over to the other range as it was bottlenecked on Range 3 so I was told by the Range Master to do that, so be pissed at him not me.

I get pretty frustrated with guys not pulling their weight on stages, I am not sure who you were, but I have a good idea (and must say you have balls posting this as if I think I know who you are you were the worst offender) I said it openly in front of everyone which is why you heard it, I don't regret it.

No problem here with not shooting with you again, you were one of the guys not doing anything and that makes my job more stressful trying to do two jobs,.....at times I had to do it all (Tape, reset steel, score and RO).

I have spent years setting up and taking down matches, so I am not feeling bad about leaving this one after we were done, I had to leave as I had a family issue (babysitter bailed on us and wife was leaving for work.)

Anytime you want to step up and RO feel free there are only a few of us. I get pulled into to do it every match wish we had more RO's! In the future if you are not happy with someone at a match, pull them aside quietly and have a man to man. I would have respected that.

Take Care.

So what Messypants is saying is..... when and if I get my black badge... someone can report me for swearing and telling people to step it up..... good on u cyclic for stepping up and voicing what many of us have wanted to say at many many non black badge matches!!!!!

Having shot at the zombie match and witnessing who the worst offenders of not stepping up and helping reset the stages were... I was surprised to see some of the worst offenders were the fancy green shirt, PoCo IPSC boys of a certain ethnic persuasion.

I watched as stages were shot they would watch, and then as soon as it was time to reset the stage all of a sudden the phones would come out or they would sneak off the range while work had to be done. Leave the girl friends at home while your at it as its not date night!

Wow tough crowd.

I wasn't the MD of this match but I do know that certain Poco IPSC green shirt wearing shooters of a certain ethnic persuasion (can you persuade yourself into an ethnicity? How curious) did work a lot behind the scenes to make sure this match happened and this green shirt wearing Chinaman worked his ass off for the Zombie match that ran `12 hours'. Were there lessons from that match and this one? For sure.

Of course any match should be grateful for the help of any RO. The squads for this match were small so if someone is unable to help they need to have a good reason -- for example, an injury -- or step up. That goes for anyone, green jersey or not. At our next Poco IPSC practice I'm sure this will be raised for people of all ethnicities.

I don't think there needs to be any more backbiting. Mods, please close this thread.

There is no doubt that any one that organizes and sets up a match deserves high praise and you silveragent put on one hell of a match that no doubt was enjoyed by all that participated. It is unfortunate that certian people, that clearly should know better being IPSC shooters, did not help in the restageing of the shoots. That's was point I was trying to make.

Hey Cyclic,
Also to be clear, there is no disputing some squad members did not pull their weight. It pissed me off too, big time. I said something to them about it too. It was one guys first match, one guy had an injury, but my point is it is not appropriate or sportsmanlike to insult people like that and ruin their day and how they feel about the sport.

Pointing out a #### move doesn't make me the ####.

the zombie match took like 12 hours because people were not helping reset stages.
I totally agree and I hate it when people do not help reset the stages as soon as possible. I wish it always happened as fast as the Qualifiers.

3 gun at PoCo is probably the best thing that's happened at that range in years. 3 gun with over 100 people can be like herding cats. Praise to the match coordinators and the RO's.

custer is having a 3 gun this weekend , so much fun running with 38 rounds in some pmags :) 33 rounders on the glocks o yaaaaaaaaaaaa the safety check is 75 bucks and also cover your concealed if you ever become a resident of the usa. canadians need to do form from atf wich they do really fast

It should be stated clearly in the beginning of every match...IF YOU AIN'T SHOOTING OR ON DECK, YOU ARE RESETTING!!! If not, then the RO and MD should have the authority to boot your a55 out.

I understand every now and then, people need to take a phone call, check gear, take a pi55, etc. But if you are consistently not resetting, you should get a warning and if you still do it, your a55 is gone.

Anyways, Silveragent, I commend you for bringing 3-Gun to Poco and the hard work you put into it. Unfortunately I'm not IPSC, but hopefully one day that will change and I'll be able to help and attend one of your matches.

not my previous 3 years, this year was to shoot at custer this weekend i couldnt keep my old number but become international. so your match dq sending me all those pms about you and your buddies getting me hmmm
