yup old news. there are a number of places to purchase locking levers. I got my first 4 for nothing, as the company sent me them as samples. 2 plastic ones, and 2 metal ones. the local woodworking shop has them as well.

as I said, the tip is from ar15.com, maybe it's old for some of you. but obviously it's new to some people. you are lucky you got them for free, but most people will have pay for them.
when you remove that crappy knurled nut from your Harris Bipod, put a 1/4 inch drill bit through it (I think that's the size) and it works perfectly as a spacer for the locking lever.
