What ever happened to the No.4 Mk2 tooling Pakistan got from Brittan and was using to make Mk2's? Was it destroyed? stored? sold? Anyone know? Its just a thought, But if someone (A Canadain prefered) got their hands on them, they could start making true to spec, made in Canada, New No.4 Mk2's. Or barrels and other parts. They could even use the Long Branch. I would buy one.

Would you pay $1000 plus for one? Can't see it being less.

Email POF and ask. It takes a lot more than "tooling" to start making guns. It would be a waste of time to use the old tooling/machines when we have CNC now.

Most of it is probably long gone. From what I've been told, the factory the lee enfields were being produced at were converted to make FN FALs and later to AK47 variants then to whatever is being produced now.

They use old rail road tracks, hand files and hand forges amongst other things. They make some very convincing firearms. I have a Khyber Pass Martini in 303 Brit. It is only obvious on close inspection. When it's taken down the file marks and hand forging are obvious. When it's assembled, other than the off hand scribing of the thumb pad outline and checkering and no maker dates or stamps, it looks like the real thing. Shoots well to.
