I am sure the answer is already buried here somewhere already.
I am using high Buris signature rimfire rings on an Anschutz mk2000 with a tasco 6-24 with a 40mm objective. I have already used the offset inserts to their max and I am zeroed at only 20yds with virtually no elevation left. My question is, if I use the low rings (yes I believe I will have barrel clearance) will that give me more elevation or as I am simultaneously lowering the front and rear of scope will it make no difference. I do not use scopes much, I prefer peep, and it makes my head explode trying to figure out how to make the proper adjustments.
