Point Blank BRSC Group Nationals in Regina - July 1st & 2nd 2006

BRSC is BenchRest Shooters Canada. This is what the LR boys call point blank, 100-200 yd BR, but depending on weather, the winning agg s/b anywhere from a teen agg. to .2200.

Come out and see some of the different custom actions is use by some top Cdn and possibly US shooters, the loading process, the flags, the bull sessions, s/b a great time, IMO.

Who all here from this site will be attending this event??

So I went down and watched some. Found another guy I once shoot with watching too. Rick S. good to see him too..and then Cary S. came by for a visit too. There was around 19 shooters, pretty good turn out. Robert Seeman took HV agg and I left before the LV was over today but I found out Dan Opel took the LV 100 Saturday. Saw a few low .1's at 100 and a mid .1 at 200 and a upper .3 at 200 yd group as well. Wind was pretty stong Sat around 15-25 mph and Sunday the wind was 4-20 mph, all from the NW.

The guys and gal I knew... Jeff W., Tony G., Dan O., Lance S., Doug S., Maxine S., Paul R., Ted G., Wayne M., Rick C.

As you can tell from the results, there was "something" out there that could not be seen...

Meet Murphy B., Grant S., Robert S., Harold G., Jerry B. and a few more I can not remember their names, local Regina and area men... Nice and sunny, not too hot, tricky winds, but the guys all had fun IMO.

Looks as things went fairly well. How did the weather hold up despite the wind?

I think Lyle and Grant may have left Bdn Friday B4 the funnell clouds were spotted. First time for me. Was not very big but neet to watch non the less.

Congrats to Robert Seeman on the two gun win. This is Roberts first year in B.R.! Alberta won the PPC cup (team members were Dan Opel, Jeff Wardlow and myself). I will have the results in a couple of days, so I can put them in the news letter, and will post more later. It was HOT WINDY and MIRAGY (we had it all). Got home about 9 o'clock tonight and am worn out. More info in a couple of days.....Tony
