Slowly getting into reloading and develop loads for .223 and .270. Insted of annoying people with alot of noob questions I would much rather ask if anyone has came across great links, DVDs or books. I know little to nothing about the process and equipment thanks in advance.
I really do appreciate it

The ABC's of Reloading is good, Lyman's reloading manuals are good as well for instructing the new reloader on how to do it right.

Talk to the people at your gun club, it's a good bet that some are into reloading and would be glad to show you the ropes.

You tube works great :) You can literally spend hours upon hours just watching reloading videos and take little bits of info from each.

I would suggest a few different reloading manuals, who makes them is not important, understanding the common practices and procedures is. Read, compare and contrast. I spent weeks reading and watching videos before touching a press.

I don't think you will annoy anyone with a noob question, if you do, that person has forgot that they once new nothing about reloading themselves. People here share a hobby, and are usually happy to help :)

Nothing like a buddy that knows what he's doing.

You still need the books and you need to do everything that every one here is telling you.

And this is one of those things that you have to be 200% responsible about.

If there are any shortcuts, I would say it's the experienced hand guiding you, other than that, I don't think there are any.

But I'm very green and have to ask about everything myself.

There's a course in Mississauga, I'm thinking of taking it.

Have you got and links or details on the course mike? I'm not that far from Mississauga ( peterborough area) so might be worth some driving, I am a hands in guy and definitely not a risk taker. I would love some hands in learning and some notes

Member rsa1 has a course. Went and it was worth every penny. Great guy. Also look at load books on eBay. It is a load book for a single calibre. Just picked up one for 7 bucks plus shipping. Rsa1 provides notes 4 hours of lecture and 4 hours of reloading. Pm him or send me a pm and I can forward his email address. He is in oakvillle.

+1 on ABCs, plus at least one mainstream reloading manual.

Ditto on asking questions here. We've all been there.

There's much good info on the web, including YouTube. There's also a lot of dangerous cr*p aired by irresponsible cowboys, so I would be very careful about taking anything from the net (except for major manufacturers' webpages).

Welcome to the dark side.

I'll forward the info that was forwarded to me.

i don't know if you are familiar with Utorrent and or downloading videos using torrent files.

if you are then go to torrentz.eu and search reloading, a david tubb video comes up its called HPRR it was really good, and there was another called precision reloading for accuracy with Richard Franklin also very good, sometimes its nice to watch a video when you get tired of reading manuals
