Polish Mosin M44 Rifles

I recall seeing them for sale for $75...old Joe Gibault didn't have much use for them, said they weren't patch on a good 6.5x55 swede in terms of fit and finish ,accuracy or anything else( they were about the same price)
Would have been a good investment though

I owned more than a handful of those rifles.
They are very well made, fit and finish is the best of any Mosin Nagant.
Accuracy wise, they shoot as well or better as any Milsurp in new condition.

To "cainesy": to shoot any rifle accurately there is a saying: use a good rifle, and shoot the best possible ammo in it.

IMO these rifles are way better than the rattly Finish Mosins with their ugly fence post wood.

In 1983 I bought a Polish M44 from Lebarons for$ 29.99. Awesome rifle .
Made a killing selling it for $ 65.00

So what?

In 1983 you could buy a single family home for $60,000 in Toronto, today it will be closer to $1,000,000 for the same.
