I posted an WTB ad in the Pistols and Revolver section of the Equipment Exchange. But no bites yet. I was hoping someone on this forum could point me in the right direction to find a Radom Viz 35. Thanks.
 
Patience is required. It might take some time to find what you want. There was a revolver I was looking for that took me almost 6 years to find.

True, but IIRC they both had pretty significant blemishes from a collection point of view...

I'll rephrase that to say: Great examples never last long, so be ready to pay what is asked and get on it quickly!
 
There is a solicitation to purchase forum called the Equipment Exchange you have to apply to. This is not it. This is for discussing the guns, not obliquely asking people to sell you one.
 
Yes I understand how EE works. But asking for help finding a pistol is against the rules? Can you show me where that rule is?

Dude - all the rules are posted in the same place and EASY to find. It's not my job to keep you from getting banned, HOWEVER, here is the relevant Rule (No.4):

4. Want to Buy [WTB];
[WTB] must be placed under the most appropriate sub-forum labelled "Want to Buy", unless there is not a WTB subforum for that particular category of items. There should be no more than one WTB for an item within all of the EE forums;
[WTB] solicitation will be removed without notice if an incorrect prefix is used and it is located in the incorrect section;

The mods are not so stupid as to miss how a one liner asking where an item is for sale, knowing it ISN'T available at normal retail, is anything other than you hoping a broader audience will read your spam an PM you to sell you one. There is a forum for that. I suggest you use it before your avatar turns pink.
 
I'm not going to get into an Internet argument with you Claven2. My hope in posting was to gain access to the larger network of knowledgeable members on the Milsurp forum who may know of where to point me in the right direction. I assumed that there are many LGS and collectors out there that aren't advertizing on the internet. I apologize to those members of the forum who responded to my OP, I didn't realize I was violating any CGN rules. Claven2 you are right it isn't your job to keep me from getting banned as you are not a moderator. You don't need to protect me, I'll take my chances in the cruel faceless world of the Internet.

On a somewhat related note, is it just me or are there a lot fewer Radoms coming up for sale in the last 5 or so years? I remember 10 or 12 years ago when I got mine Radoms and P38s were pretty common / affordable. I'm not surprised the prices have gone up but I sure feel like I see them much less often.

On the flip side, it took me 5 years to find a Bodeo and all of a sudden they seem to popping up semi-regularly all of a sudden.

I think that happens too. What happened to me is that I saw one for sale and decided that I "needed" a Viz 35. I did a little cursory research on them and it has a very interesting service history.
