Hi
Well having seen so much online about the quality of these, I finally found one at a reasonable surplus price $ 279 at sfrc

and as it now seems that there wont be a handgun ban in canada, i purchased one

so just gotta wait for transfer @ postie to see if polish TT lives up to the reputation it has

went for a standard one not a two tone one as they had

cheers

Polish is nicer in my opinion. At least from the examples I've owned or examined. The Yugo are close though.

I have a post war Russian that I’d say is as mint as it gets, from pics I’ve seen of the Polish TT’s the post war Russian guns are on par with them for condition. Mine looks like a mirror down the barrel, no visible pitting at all, the only way you know it’s been issued is a small area of on the right side of the muzzle. The bluing is slightly less deep in certain lighting, likely from holster wear.

TT 33 is the next SKS as far as scarcity and price.

I pulled a safe queen out today out of curiosity...

It has not seen the light of day in years.

An all matching 1944 Russian (including the mag). One listed today on EE was the motivation.

Can any experts confirm it looks like an Izzy stamp?
