polishing out scratches

I have a shield sis sight the the front plastic lens has a slight haze front the previous owned . Anyone know if this can be polished out and how. All tries at contacting the rep and mfg have netted zero responses.

I like to use Novus Clean and Shine, but I'd be wary if there are any coatings on the lens that could be stripped off if you do this.

Just be careful as polishing the glass surfaces will also polish off the protective coatings.

Find an aircraft parts and supply company as they have special plastic polishing compounds for cleaning and polishing out scratch’s on aircraft plastic canopy’s and windows. —-Dieseldog!
