Many of us know that Flitz and Autosol are great stainless polishing compounds but a fellow at my range suggested I try "Never Dull" (available in most auto parts shops, Canadian Tire etc) for getting rid of those hard to remove powder burn rings at the front of my 686 revolver cylinder. I had a can in the trunk of my old Impala for working on her chrome and stainless parts. It works like a hot d**n and I can't believe I didn't think of it myself. It's a long roll of wadding impregnated with a substance and you just pull off a bit and rub. A bit of elbow grease but well worth the effort.
