Poly Choke repair

How would a gunsmith re-attach this choke to the bbl?

I'm thinking JB Weld or maybe another 2 part epoxy.

I’d silver solder it, plumbing solder is plenty strong with that much surface bond. Clean the surface and prep the joint well, use a good flux and solder and you will have a strong bond.

I believe they were originally soldered ?

Properly soft soldered will work better than epoxies.

Towards the last of the Poly Choke company they used an epoxy to secure the choke. Lot's of options with low temp silver solder also. Is that a brand name Poly Choke? I have lots of them and have never seen a knurling pattern like that before.

Silver solder and the set screw on the side..some where threaded..most were not..

Turn a piece of 360 brass to a slip fit in the bore as a heat sink & alignment rod...silver braze it...once & done.
