I've bought an as new Norinco SKS arsenal 0408, serial # 2300###X H all matching.Spike bayo.Barrel is screwed.Fixed mag.
Stamped on the left side after the SN :
SKS 7,62x39 NORINCO CHINA POLY USA ATL GA.
Is it possible to find an approximated date of manufacture ? Thanks.

I think that this would be the U.S. importer & does not help identify when the gun was made.
That would tied in to the serial number . I don't know if Norinco releases mfg. dates or not.

yea it is prolly in the serial# somehow you would have to ethier check with norinco or maybe soemone on here knows how to tell by its serial#....

after 1979 could be correct but using the system on above site applies only to factory /26\.
