Bought one about a month ago just because. Today my 22 yr old son and me were sighting in our hunting rifles and I brought along the 305 and a box of cheapy Winchester .308. All I'd done to this unit was clean out the packing goop. My first 5 shot group went about 5" around point of aim off-hand at 100 metres, no sight adjustment required. My young lad got 1.5
" and a huge YAHOO! These rigs are just plain fun. He wants to hunt with it this fall, I said get your own. He will. Say what you want about Chinese stuff, these things work and are fun. The name kinda sucks for Canada though, Poly Tech...... Ecole Poly-Technique. A big tip o' the Stetson to all of you folks that promote these things on CGN. Now to buy a scope.

Very cool!

I also will be sporting a M305 Poly in the woods this hunting season. Just picked it up, and installed a ARMS 18 scope mount and an S&J Hardware cheek riser. Scope and rings on the to buy list.

funny i never made THAT connection- i thought it had something to do with trained birds

Took my 2007 out last year for deer. It was interesting. Met a couple of locals on a trail and they thought I was carrying a toy. The deer didn't think it was a toy.

They are a lot of fun, and I'm always surprised in a good way with the iron sight groups. Much better than I thought they would be considering how much landscape the front post covers and what disceptively appears to be a lack of precision in aim at 100 yards or more.

like suzuki, all you have to do is drive one, the problem with the chinese is that they all look the same, and after you buy one, you want another one about an hour later...
