Looks pretty cool.

ATI's FX-H Hybrid is a 1911 style semi-auto pistol with a polymer frame.

The frame consists of two metal inserts at the main stress points yet maintaining a lightweight frame.

Match grade 5" stainless steel barrel.
Interchangeable with Glock sights.
Removable slide plate accepts micro RD optical sights.
Accepts all milspec 1911 parts.
Total weight of the pistol is 1.6lbs.
Currently available in 45ACP but other calibers to follow shortly.

All about the feel in my hand. I like a heavy gun and the poly ones just don't seem to have what it takes.
On the other hand if we were allowed to carry something like that would be way better than an all metal 1911.

Not for me. I don't really like plastic, as for me they are too light, and I have never considered the 1911 to be particularly heavy. Both my CZ TS and Pardini are heavier. If I were to go plastic it would be a more modern style of gun.
