I was looking at purchasing another Glock, but wanted to go a custom route and prefer Glocks with grip reductions and stippling. I stumbled across the Polymer 80 frames. They're not considered firearms in the States because they are not a complete frame. nor are they serialized. I did a search on CGN, but was unable to find the legality of them in Canada and/or if anyone stocks them.

Does anyone have any info on these frames?

As of SHOT earlier this year I had heard that they were going to be producing 100% completed serialized frames. But after a quick webstore search it looks like they aren't there just yet. From what I have seen I'm not sure how they would fit in a regular G17/G19 holster due to some different angles on them.

But from a customization perspective they are very appealing!

IRunGuns has them, they even put a custom serial number on them for you (can’t import without it). I believe it’s registered through them as well.

I was actually just checking their website thinking they are about the only other company that would carry them, but I can't seem to find them on their website. Do you have a link?

EDIT* I found it on the U.S. website, but that requires a $200USD importation fee and that wouldn't be worthwhile.

The $200 is if they import an item not from their site for you (third party import). It’s $25USD per firearm on their US site.
