Polytech 305

So I bit the bullet today (sorry I couldn't help the bad pun) and ordered a Polytech 305 from Lever Arms in Vancouver. I have been reading lots on the upgrades I will need to do to it later. I am very open to suggestions.
Just to keep things balanced I couldn't resist the deal that Marstar's have for the SKS 56, so one of those is on the way also. I am going to have lots of fun this fall

See how each rifle shoots, sometimes they don't need any upgrades. My friends M14 was great the way it came.

The first thing to get is lots and lots of 7.62.
Some x51(.308 win) and more x39...
You'll probably shoot the sks more because it's a lot cheaper to feed, but the m14 will give you a bigger grin!

Well the SKS comes 1040 .39 rds and I have 1000 of the .51 coming for the 305. Its going to be fun. I was surprised how expensive the 308 was though, but I guess the .39 is all made in China and lots of it at that. I will have to watch for deals in the 308. Any suggestions on who usually have the best ammo deals?
