Has anyone here had any experience with the electric drive that Ponsness offers for their shotshell presses. I am contemplating purchasing one but I would like to know from other users how their's works for them.

Cheers, Dedapair

I have a couple of friends that have them and use them all the time. I have 4 PW's and the one thing that always concerned me about the autodrive was that I questioned whether I would be able to stop it mid-stroke if I saw a wad tipped, primer off-center, etc.

I have one on my Dillon 1050.

I don't know the proper name for it, but the motor turns like a clock, and doesn't freewheel. With the foot pedal in use, if you take your foot off the pedal, the machine stops. Period.
