I have had a M77 MkII hawkeye in.308, stainless, for a few years; bought it new.

The rifle has always had a tough time ejecting. Normally extracts OK until the case is clear of the chamber and then the extractor does not hang onto the empty case. If I cycle the bolt quickly and firmly it seems to extract and eject pretty well and probably 9 times out of 10, but if I work the bolt like I don't hate the rifle, quite often I have the empty just-fired case sitting on the next round.

Anybody got any good ideas???

Tip it to the right and let it fall out...

sorry I couldn't resist... :)

I hardly see a Ruger around here...

If it has a plunger type ejector in the bolt face try a lighter spring...
