I recently changed the stock on my Savage MKII FV to a Sharp Shooter Supply stock. Since the change my groups have worsened. The point of impact can change from group to group and fliers are present that weren't there before. I'm using SK Rifle Match and the same lot number I was using when getting consistent groups (prior to stock change).

Any ideas?

that would be my guess. the barell could be resting on the wood somewhat. make sure it is not. That would be the first step. Are you shooting it off a rest? If not, the stock may not fit you as well as your previous one and it could take a little getting used to. And of course your screws are tight.

Might be worth checking if any debris has gotten into the trigger and/or the bolt.

Check if the barrel is free floating by sliding a piece of paper between the barrel and the stock. A pressure point could be the cause of the inconsistency.

Most after market stocks, and even some OEM stocks will need a bedding job and barrel channel relief for free floating. This sounds like a loose action to me.

Thank you guys. The action bolts are set at 15 pounds but its being bedded and I'll work up from there. It shot very well in that old tupperware stock so I'm sure she'll shoot with this stock.

Thanks,

No guess work involved. You've changed the bedding. If you just put another stock on you need to take it off and fit it. There are high spots in the wood and you need to tighten the screws.
