It's based on THIS, basically it's the top piece in the drawing, with legs added. I had to enlargen the slot where my Beretta 96 sits to 1 1/4" wide and deepen the slot where my beretta 71 sits by 1/2".

I will also be changing the layout below where my rifles sit as there is no way it can fit four (in the styles I like). I plan to make individual magnetic muzzle holders for each rifle.

You indeed are a man of many talents... nice job!

But eventually you're gonna need three or four of those racks..... ;) :p

Nicely done. Some rubber weather stripping or cut to size self adhesive insulation tile may work well in the cut outs. Princess Auto also has that rubbery non-slip matting on sale often, like that stuff a lot too.

Blowback on the P7 noticeably different than recoil operation? The pure Inox is very nice. Left handed CZ and right side mag releases on the pistols, use trigger finger? Off topic I know, pm good too.

Thanks for the comments. :)

I was thinking about some thin adhesive backed cork in the cutouts.

Yes, I use my trigger finger, even on my Berettas that allow you to change it to left hand friendly, I still use it right handed.

M A T T: Great work!! I was duly inspired:

I used a scrap piece of particle board. The only tools I had access to were a Dremel and an el cheapo jigsaw. It's not as nice as yours and some of the slots need a little more lovin' from the Dremel....but I like!! Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. ;)

Very nice. How are they standing up? And what were you using before, they almost look like bookends.

PS, is that TWO PSP's I see? :D

The handguns are standing up on their own. The rack has a piece of particle board at the rear of the base attached with "L" brackets from the dollar store. What I was using before were plastic paper dividers/file folder holders that were being tossed at work. Hey, I'm cheap when it comes to certain things.....:D

You're seeing a PSP and P7M8 with Nills grips...I've got some Nills coming for the PSP as well and am waiting to see Paulinator's PSP when he gets it back from Rodger (RK Custom Gunsmithing/Dark International). I want a Pimped Small Pistola.....:p

skeetgunner, the inside of my safe is a little over 18" across and I can fit 9 pieces together for 9 handdguns. They're made of plastic and are interlocking. The product is made by Starmark of Canada and its stock number is 9535. I'm not sure if Starmark is still in business but I saw the same trays listed in the Corporate Express catalogue a few months ago in the "desk organizers" or "desk accessories" section.

edit to add: found it online!
