Poor mans Lapua

We commonly add the screw to bolt knob installations on the stainless bolts. The reason being is the added leverage the oversize knobs give.
The CM bolts do not seem to have the same frequency of handles coming off from failed factory solder.

Yes it was a model 25 that I snapped the handle off. After some quick research it seems there may have been a piece missing from where the handle was screwed into the bolt.
First time I have seen a Rem bolt handle come off though ,but I am not a gunsmith.

I've seen it before a few times.Just clean it up and solder it back on properly and you won't have a problem.

Thanks, action has been shipped back to ATRS for repair. Hope this is the last time the handle comes off.

WOW can you say "Service" ???

Got a call from Rick (ATRS) today, they have repaired the action and are shipping back to me !!



Action arrived today (Sept 08th), I was amazed to see that Rick at ATRS repaired the bolt for FREE!! WOW can you say ABOVE and BEYOND Customer Service!!
