Pop up blind zipper noise, slow and silent or quick and loud?

I once had a wolf come in to the sound of my zipper as I was setting up, ya never know!

I’ve had numerous deer show up while ascending or descending in a climbing tree stand, which is obviously quite loud in a quiet forest. How about deer being attracted to chainsaws when felling trees? When in the tractor or ATV most deer and turkey couldn’t care less. Point being, many scents and sounds might seem like they’d scare every animal for miles when in fact the game has never had a negative experience to associate those smells and sounds with danger.

I mainly still hunt deer and have stalked within 10-20 yards countless times. It’s this method of hunting which has taught me what you usually can and cannot get away with.

It's so random sometimes what they do and don't respond to. I've had them spook from a slight creeking noise as you shift around in a seat and others that stood still and stared at me without a concern after i just shot the one standing 20 feet from them and go back to eating.

Yep. It's pretty amazing what does and doesn't spook them. A couple years ago a buck came into our bait (we were in a zip up pop up blind) and as my son shifted to get a better shooting position he made a slight rustle sound that caused the buck to whip his head up and stare at us for what seemed like an eternity. He finally went back to feeding and my son took the shot. BOOM! Clean miss. Buck never skipped a beat, just kept eating. Second shot was a good one.

An immature deer will take a lot more of this kind of disturbance/pressure than a mature deer will. Spook a mature buck once or twice and good luck seeing him again.
