Pork Sword

Curious, does anybody know what kind of muzzle velocities these 14.5" Pork Sword barrels are getting with both 6.5 CM and 308? I like the compactness of the platforms, but wonder if there will be a two foot flamethrower at the end on each shot.

308 would be better than 6.5, there's a great study on MV on the internet for 308 where he measures inch by inch and chops the barrel at the range.

with 147 gr and a 16.5" barrel he was still getting high 26xx

Obviously not pushing the caliber to its full potential but more than enough for 300m and in shots.

IMO 14.5 is a bit short for this type of caliber. I would go a min of 16" for 308, 6.5 is more reliant on speed so I would go a min of 18" for it. Tons of 308 gas gun guys in the states run 16" barrels with success. But they also aren't shooting 1k with them either
