portable relaoding bench

Workmate with a top is usable.
A top with folding table legs is an option.
Pipe flanges can be installed, and legs screwed in at the range. Have the legs splayed out a bit.

Google "portable shooting bench plans".

workmate,an old pine stair/step i saved from renovating, bolts to screw into said stair/step(2x6) and 4 large c-clamps to clamp 2x6 onto workmate.
very portable...

p.s. i have 3 presses on this setup(lee single stage, lee turret and dillon rl550b) all beside each other @ the same time...

When you develop a load, or when you want to "adjust" a given ammo to the firearm.

When I have to do so, I use a Lee Handpress. I also sometime use the (volumetric) Lee Powder measures, but only after double double checking the weight / volume relation of the given powder with an accurate scale.

Yup having your reloading setup at the range makes load development much easier.

As I don't have a dedicated spot for reloading, my set up is temporary all the time. I mounted the press to a piece of aluminum that is about 8 x 8 and 1/8th thick. Then I mounted that to a piece of 3/4 inch plywood. I recessed all the bolts between the aluminum and the wood. I used 8x8 so that I could mount the powder measurer beside the press. A guy wouldn't even have to go that big. When I want to reload, I C-clamp it down to my wifes craft table, and it becomes my 'craft table.' It really works good.

I got all the stuff for free. Scrap pieces of aluminum and wood.
