Ported barrel for Beretta 92

they might look sweet but are pretty much useless. PM David Olhasso (username DOlhasso) and see what he can tell you about getting one.

why? Can you use it in Open? Should be a pretty fast shooter (no muzzle flip)

the 9 has minimal muzzle flip as it is-i think the reason the 93 has porting is that it climbs on full auto because it's made on such a light frame- the uzi has no such porting-nothing to do with muzzle flip-once you go full auto there's a whole different variables come into play- that fold down forearm probably gives you minimal purchase as well
 
I know that 92FS doesn't have than much muzzle flip, but when I shoot it as fast I can pull the trigger my hands/arms actually rise (which surprised me at first) and I'm not a small guy either…

Anyways, would it be allowed in IPSC OPEN div?
 
answer me this: technically it's a compensator- so are compensators allowed? if so , i don't see why not
