I have a Magnum Research BFR in .50AE, and while the revolver is cool and all, the muzzle flip during recoil is getting a little hard on the hand. The impulse back I can handle, it's the rotation that's eating my hand.
I've tried shooting with gloves, but it tears up the thin ones and I don't like wearing thick heavy ones.
Is porting the barrel a viable option to control this? Due to the front sight, I think the muzzle brake option would be a lot harder (and still keep the sight).
Has anyone had this done/did this to reduce muzzle flip?
$$$??
