well as far as DVD's go Frank Little has a couple of video's out there and they are excellent, but can be hard to find. Readily avaliable ones that I have heard are good are the one's by Kay Ohye.

Be super cautious before you have this done! The best port jobs seem to factory porting. I have seen many after market jobs and when asked many seem to think that it did not improve the gun or that the job was not done right. I have seen some that look like they may have been done with a hand held black and decker. The few that produced happy customers also produced a few that were not happy. I would start to hang around trap and sporting ranges and ask, ask, ask!

Don't waste your time or money porting the gun. I have trap guns that are ported and not ported and can see no discernable in recoil or muzzle jump. The only difference I see is the porting leaves a big mess of powder residue on th bbls and under the rib. I wish none of my guns were ported,if you are trying to reduce recoil buy a reducer instead. I shoot trap 2x a week for the last 21 years and have wasted a hell of alot of time cleaning ports and gas residue off shotgun bbls!

I think you're right. My last 5 brownings have been ported because......well because for the first few I tried them without comparing to non ported and now...well my cynergy at least was only available ported. The only difference may be that it turns a 2 minute cleaning operation into 15 or 20 and I never really seem to get those ports clean:mad:
