Portuguese 937a

Has anybody out there ever seen a 937a? I have seen plenty of verguiro's registered as 937a but never an actual specimen in the flesh.

I've seen two so far. One at a gun show perhaps a year ago (mismatched and somewhat beat up but still a shooter), and another on the EE also in fair condition. It seems when these turn up, they are gone like hot cakes.

Where did you see on on the ee?

Must have been a few months ago but it went really quick. I remember seeing the post on the EE and checked it an hour later only to see "SPF".

I can't believe I missed it, I usually check every 1/2 hour or so.

I've been collecting for 25 years ,and don't remember ever seeing a 937a . lots of Verguiros and 8 or 9 1941's

The top one is a 937a. The middle and bottom are 1941 Port K98's.
All 3 are all matching.

Nice collection! If I am right, you can usually spot a 937a by the front sight "ears". They also have the bottom sling arrangement compared to the familiar side sling set up of the Kar98.
