Positive Safety Click

The only thing I don't like about my Colt AR15A4 is the Safety. It is mushy. On the other hand my Sig M400 has a very tactile and positive click when switching between safe and fire.

Is there anyway I can get the safety on my colt to have a positive firm click like my SIG???

Mine goes snicker snack. Perhaps your safety plunger spring is weak. What happens if you push the plunger in with the grip off?

Should I try a bigger spring??

It would be worth switching springs from a fault-finding point of view. It would be worth pushing in the plunger with a pin to see if extra pressure solves the problem.
