POSP on Mosin?

For the past little while I've been contemplating, on removing the nice POSP scope I currently have installed on an SKS and actually put it to a good use So I figure it would not only look neat on a Mosin, (either a an M-38 or a 91/30), but also make an already accurate rifle even more so. Opinions, advice....anyone?

This on http://www.surplusrifle.com/reviews2...ject/index.asp is ugly as sin, imho. There are versions for conventional mounts http://kalinkaoptics.com/detail.aspx?ID=546, but I'd rather sell it and not waste time on it. POSP/PO/PPO/PSO suck. Reticle for 7.62x54R is their only advantage.

I wouldnt say that,have you ever even used any of those? the PO scope I have is the best scope I have ever used aside from a Zeiss. Worth 3 times what i payed for it IMO. The glass is very nice as is everything else (except the finish), my only complaint is that the windage/elev clicks arn't extremely positive as with more expensive scopes. That being said, they still work just find.

"...even more so..." A scope doesn't improve accuracy. It just lets you see the target better.

Yes muh-muh-muh-mauser I have used PO, PPO etc and now replacing all of them with something what would worth money.
Here is my bodycount:
first PO 4x24 marked waterproof - got water in the rain
second PO 4x24 replacement from kalinka optics got reticle loose.
On both reticle which suppose to reflect 7.62x39 drop does not match with any ammo I use.
PPO 5-20x50 F - front lens bell got loose.
POSP - DOA, sent back.

Also they are very sensetive to mount alignment and very primitive

Feel free to ignore my warning and waste your time on this junk.
