possibility of finding unissued unfired sks

lucky for you marstar has Chinese ones. they are a great rifle and you are not likely to find unissued unfired SKS anywhere unless they are Chinese ones.

Lever arms in Vancouver has a couple right now, looked at them yesterday. A 1950, 54 and a 56. Give them a call cause they aren't on the website.

I recently purchased an unrefurbished one from Lever. I would hardly call them unissued though. Probably from the same import as Westrifle.

the only unissued you'll find are the Chinese ones from marstar. Anything else will have been issued and then warehoused.

The Marstar's ones ( chinese type 56 ) are brand new and probably the best shooters out there... JP.

The Chinese SKS are nice, except the wood is on the cheap side.. these were made before they absolutely perfected cheap.

Very nice, but how would you know that its an early import? I've got what sounds like almost an identical one, with no indications of refurb, but i know it just came off the boat. BTW, those are some pretty nice SKS's

I don't see the appeal of non-refurb. Non-issue.
If nothing else you are paying for someone's speculation. Speculation that makes their $200 worth $300.

How does anyone know if it was issued of not, over 60 years I'm sure these guns have stories. Maybe someone forgot to stamp it at the armoury.

If I'm buying a used gun refurbished would be better than non in my eyes. You know the barrell is in good shape, everything else had a once over.

I have an SKS, no refurbish mark, no date, no factory stamp.
I can call it anything you want and can charge you any amount you want. Let me know.

I had presumed they had purchased them from you. I understand not wanting to be associated with Lever Arms though.

I wouldn't worry about it, you have a much better reputation for quality than them.

No lever did not purchase from us. They had imported a big lot some time ago and had it stored in a wear house!

I am pretty sure i got a unfired one at wholesale sports, The bore is shinny more then my new guns, and the stock is mint shape, Firing pin and carriers looks flawless.
