Possible Trap Gun Upgrade???

Hello, Im currently considering an upgrade in Trapgun, looking towards a Perazzi MX10 Top Single Combo. I was hoping someone here has had some experience with one, and could you give me any information...pros and cons for instance? any help would be appreciated.:HR:
 
Make sure you handle any shotguns you are considering, for me Perazzis don't fit at all, even the grip seems too thick, Krieghoffs fit me like a glove.
 
I don't own an MX10 but know two guys who do. I do own an MX8 Sporting and they are very similar guns.

The MX10 comes with either a removable selectable trigger with leaf springs or coil springs. The leaf springs generally have a better trigger pull while the coil springs are more durable. Mine has leaf springs and they aren't difficult to change. I had to change one after 50 thousand rounds, the second after 80thousand.

The only other issue I had with mine was needing to replace the top lever spring at the 80 thousand mark.

IMO, Perazzi is a great gun. I don't think you'll go wrong with an MX10 combo. If I were getting back into trap it would be the gun I'd choose.
 
If I were you I would go to an ATA event in the USA - the Grand for example, but there are lots of closer ones - the PA Grand, the MI Grand etc.
There will be tons of guns to try out and guys there that can show you how to fit it properly. To me you should not spend the $$$ you are talking about with out trying out a bunch of them.

Bringing one back is a different story - but there are legal ways to do it
 
The Grand is the best place to try all the guns.

I think I know of an MX-10 top single combo available in London. I'm sure the owner would let you shoot it. PM me if you want me to connect you with him.
