Has anybody used this trimmer? I trimmed the first 500 .223's with the zip-trim..... ugh. Ordered a possum hollow kwick trim in the hopes it speeds things up. Any feed back on this?

I ordered it right from Eric the Possum Hollow guy, said he had one to ship me when i called and gave him CC info.

In a couple weeks when I get it I will see how it works. I will pre-size them all on a FL sizing die, then all the shoulders should be uniform and it should trim them all to the same length. I will do a few hundred and post back results.

With just neck sizing, wouldnt that bring in variance?? Thats what the possum guy told me, best results with FL sizing before hand. haha I don't know, for 40$ shipped we'll see. I hate trimming brass.

This thing made my life easier. It is definitely quicker. You have to run through your brass three times (trim, inside/outside chamfer) but it seemed way quicker with this tool.

Accuracy seems to vary +/- .002 but that's fine.

Did 250 cases in a hour, not bad at all compared to what I was doing before.

Yup, I use a KT-1 and it rocks my .223 world. I over-trim a bit below minimal length, then feed the cases through my Dillon Super 1050... they come out "to spec" and run like a dream in my AR15.
