A few weeks I removed the barrel on CZ 455 for a good cleaning. Next weekend I am shooting ORPS at Miramichi so I needed to confirm if my zero had changed after re-installing the barrel. Well, I can report that the zero did not change.

Had fun shooing 50 and 100 yards and even took a stab at shotgun shells at 100.

The bull eye target was at 50 and missed the 5x5 at 50 1/2 in challenge by one round. The gophers were at 100 and best group was just under 1inch. Eley Force was the ammo, love the black casing

Three weeks ago I received my new to me CZ 455 Stainless .17 HMR. I promptly placed it in my Canadian edition stock.

Right now it sports a cheap 3-9 Simmonds scope but still managed to shoot shotgun shells at 100 and these were my first two group with it.

You are fortunate that your zero didn't change when the barrel was removed and reinstalled. The targets look very promising.

The following isn't meant as a criticism. Although the target with five groups may not have been measured, it may have more than one round that would keep it from qualifying.

To explain, assume for the sake of argument that the bullet hole diameter is .224", the approximate diameter of the bullet, (it's smaller in practice). When there are two holes side-by-side and just touching, the two-shot group would be .224". Three holes side-by-side and just touching would be .448". Three side-by-side holes with paper between each hole would make the group size even larger. When there is room for two bullet holes between the two holes that are furthest apart, the group is over .6".

To illustrate, below is a sample target showing the spacing of holes side-by-side, the measurements center-to-center. No actual bullet holes are shown. While the faux bullet holes are not necessarily placed accurately (I'm new to using the Ontarget program), they show what was described.
