I recently picked up a near mint condition Winchester 62A and I'm having trouble tracking down the date of manufacture via the serial #. I know its a post war model (long pump grip, bullet shaped port, ect) but the number doesn't seem to jive with on line records and I can not seem to track any other info on it. The serial number is 436### A The gun is all original, it is not a carnival gun, and came from a long time, high end private collector.
