Shot a bit on Saturday while I was out. Getting good groups with my 22" Marlin 45/70 but out of adjustment on the scope so out to Terry it goes. I was shooting 53g of 3031 with a remington 405g bullet. Both my 45/70 Marlins like this load and the GG with open sights will almost do what I can with a scope on the 22".

The black dot in the center is the size of a dime for refferance, sorry about the crappy pic

^ Since when is a .308 a big bore
depends on who you are talking to.
If it's an old school TR shooter that also hunts, small bore would be anything nder .243, big bore over that.
I consider them big bores myself, but also own many 45 caliber rfles.

Ah crap. I just threw out about a dozen of the targets I shot with this gun a week and a half ago. I thought nobody would be interested in seeing them. All the targets I shot were at 75 yards too. That is a great grouping.
