I know there are a lot of people here who like to monkey with their guns.
A lot of you do proper work.
Others, like me, put in hours and add very little marketable value, but do it all the same, tailoring things to your likes, or just for the hell of it.

Let's see some of your before and after pictures of shotguns that underwent a noticable change, and describe what you did.

Mine is a Winchester 2200 pump that saw a lot of use before I got it.
-stock stripped, stained, and oiled
-bolt replaced with aid from a great CGN member and blued due to heavy pitting. Has seen use a bunch of times and has seen rain on a couple of occasions and blueing seems to be alright.
-anodizing removed from aluminum receiver. wet sanded using progressively finer grits, and shined with polish. fingerprints show up really quickly.
